Intrinsically Safe Process 4-20 mA Pressure Transmitters
PMC/STS offers a comprehensive range of classic 2-wire 4-20mA output transducers and transmitters for use in hazardous environments. These satisfy not only the process industry applications but also any application where long cable lengths are required. Pressure ranges are from 0-1 psi to 0-15,000 psi with inherent repeatability of less than 0.015% and total accuracy of better than 0.1% including linearity, hysteresis, repeatability and zero/span settings. Certifications include FM, FMC and Atex. To Class 1 Div. 1.
The ATM/IS series is specifically designed to meet the requirements of the process industry with various intrinsically safe approvals. The high performance/low cost combination offers the user a transmitter for use in health and safety monitoring applications more commonly achieved with a far higher priced alternate.

The ATM.1ST/IS is an electronically compensated pressure transmitter providing a 2-wire, 4-20 mA analog output. The transmitter offers accuracies of ≤ 0.05% FS or ≤ 0.1% FS including linearity, hysteresis, repeatability, zero and span setting errors. Modular construction and the 20 year proven history of STS piezoresistive sensor technology provide manufacturing flexibility and offers fast delivery for all pressure ranges.

The ATM/F/IS series has been designed for use in hazardous locations and is part of a comprehensive range of transmitters specifically designed for the process industry where the fluids are of a clogging nature requiring a flush mount type of installation. Exceptional reliability is achieved with the high overpressure rating, and the combination of high accuracy and good long term stability offer the user reduced recalibration requirements resulting in a low cost of ownership.
