Electronic Assembler
Position Summary
The Electronic Assembler is responsible for assembling, testing, and inspecting electronic components, subassemblies, and finished products according to engineering drawings, work instructions, and quality standards. This position requires attention to detail, manual dexterity, and the ability to work in a manufacturing environment while maintaining productivity and quality requirements.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
· Assemble electronic components, and electro-mechanical assemblies according to specifications.
· Read and interpret assembly drawings, schematics, blueprints, bills of materials (BOMs), and work instructions.
· Perform soldering, crimping, wire stripping, cable routing, and component installation.
· Conduct visual inspections and basic functional testing of assembled products.
· Identify and report defects, nonconformances, and process issues to supervisors or quality personnel.
· Use hand tools, power tools, measuring devices, and testing equipment safely and effectively.
· Maintain accurate production records and documentation.
· Follow quality management system requirements, standard operating procedures, and work instructions.
· Comply with all safety regulations and company policies.
· Maintain a clean and organized work area in accordance with 5S and housekeeping standards.
· Assist with process improvements and continuous improvement initiatives as needed.
Required Qualifications
· High school diploma or equivalent.
· Previous assembly or manufacturing experience
· Ability to read and understand assembly instructions and technical documents.
· Basic knowledge of electronic components and manufacturing processes.
· Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
· Ability to use hand tools and basic measuring instruments.
· Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
