The PMC Differential Current-to-Current Converter is intended for use in harsh industrial environments where a differential measurement of any process variable is desired. Focusing on differential pressure measurement in paper mills and similar process industries, the NEMA 4X DII supplies power to a pair of individually-mounted, 2-wire pressure transmitters and computes the difference between the resulting 4-20 mA currents. The output is a user-scaled 4-20 mA signal proportional to the difference in pressure.
